Trader consensus on Polymarket gives Anthropic an 86% implied probability of fielding the top AI model by April's end, propelled by Claude Opus 4.6's sustained dominance across key benchmarks like LMSYS Chatbot Arena (1503 Elo, trailing Google's Gemini 3.1 Pro by just two points), LMArena, coding arenas, and new Document Arena evaluations since its February launch. No major rival releases have displaced it in March, reinforcing its edge in complex reasoning, low hallucinations, and agentic tasks amid tight competition from Gemini 3.1 Pro (6%) and OpenAI's GPT-5 series (3.8%). Traders eye potential pre-April updates from Google or OpenAI as the main risks to this lead, with resolution hinging on live leaderboard standings.
