On January 3, 2026, Nicolás Maduro was indicted alongside alleged co-conspirators in an indictment titled "United States of America V. Nicolás Maduro Moros, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, Ramón Rodríguez Chacín, Cilia Adela Flores de Maduro, Nicolás Ernesto Maduro Guerra".

This market will resolve to "Yes" if a trial start date in the indictment against Nicolás Maduro is scheduled by January 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

If the judge schedules a trial date within this market’s timeframe, this will suffice for resolution regardless of the actual date on which the trial is set to begin. If the trial date is subsequently moved, it will have no effect on the outcome of this market.

The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.
