Recent Abacus Data polling gives Liberal Tatiana Auguste a 42-37 lead over Conservative Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné in the Terrebonne federal by-election, anchoring trader consensus at 61.5% for Auguste and 37.5% for Sinclair-Desgagné ahead of the November 25 vote in this battleground Quebec riding. The contest, triggered by Liberal MP Geneviève Rochon's resignation, favors Auguste via party resources and incumbency in a seat she helped flip from Bloc Québécois control in 2021. Sinclair-Desgagné, a former Bloc MP now with Conservatives, draws support from national Tory gains and local familiarity amid voter frustration with Liberals. Negligible odds for NDP's Maria Cantore and others reflect their weak polling. Final debates could sway undecideds.
