This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 28 Mar '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/cn/chengdu/ZUUU. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket has locked in 100% implied probability for Chengdu's highest temperature reaching 24°C or higher on March 28, driven by official China Meteorological Administration (CMA) observations at Shuangliu International Airport already surpassing this threshold amid peak afternoon heating, with current readings around 24–25°C under partly cloudy skies and light southerly winds. A regional warming trend over the past week—highs escalating from 20–22°C to 23–24°C—exceeds late-March climatological averages of 17–20°C in the Sichuan Basin, fueled by a persistent high-pressure ridge suppressing clouds and precipitation. Forecast ensembles from CMA, ECMWF, and GFS reinforce this with minimal spread, projecting sustained warmth; only an improbable late-day cool front or thick haze could cap the official daily maximum below 24°C before end-of-day reporting.
