Mercedes teammates George Russell and Kimi Antonelli lead trader consensus for the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship at 43.5% and 31.4% implied probabilities, driven by their W17's dominance under new regulations that emphasize sustainable power units and closer racing. Antonelli holds a 72-63 points edge after sweeping China and Japan Grands Prix—his second straight win last weekend made him the first teenager to lead the standings—while Russell's Australia victory and Shanghai Sprint success underscore Mercedes' 1-2 finishes in all three openers. Ferrari's Leclerc (6.5%) and Hamilton lag in constructors' standings by 45 points, with no recent upgrades closing the gap; Red Bull and McLaren struggle in race pace and qualifying, positioning the Mercedes duo as clear frontrunners amid 21 races remaining.
