Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors "No" at 91.5% implied probability for Elon Musk securing full custody of his son Romulus with Ashley St. Clair, driven by verified court filings where St. Clair sought sole custody and paternity confirmation in February 2025, alleging Musk's minimal involvement—absent at birth and only three brief visits. Musk's January 2026 public announcement of intent to file, tied to St. Clair's softened stance on transgender issues via her apology for past comments, has yielded no confirmed legal action or favorable rulings amid the escalating public spectacle of leaked texts and interviews. Family courts prioritize the primary caregiver's stability for young children, disadvantaging Musk's sprawling family of 14-plus kids and intense schedule; realistic upsets would require proven maternal unfitness or a surprise settlement granting him sole rights, though none have materialized in over a year of headlines.
