Stranger Things Season 5 concluded its eight-episode run on Netflix with the finale dropping December 31, 2025, marking the definitive end of the flagship series as confirmed by creators the Duffer Brothers and Netflix, with no official plans announced for additional mainline episodes despite early 2026 fan theories like "Conformity Gate" being debunked. Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects this finality, pricing low probabilities on surprise releases amid high volume from repeated "No" resolutions in prior date-specific markets. Recent buzz centers on the animated spin-off Stranger Things: Tales From '85, executive produced by the Duffers and premiering all 10 episodes April 23 exclusively on Netflix, though it does not qualify as a core series installment per market rules. Watch for potential post-premiere speculation, but industry patterns suggest no shifts without explicit Netflix confirmation.

For the purposes of this market, an “episode” must be listed as a distinct episode of Stranger Things on Netflix and be playable for general subscribers in the United States. A behind-the-scenes featurette, documentary, trailer, recap, cast interview, deleted scenes compilation, or other bonus content will not count unless it is clearly presented by Netflix as an official numbered or titled episode of the series.
If Netflix releases an alternate cut, extended cut, or “secret” version of an already-released episode, it will not count unless it is listed as a separate episode entry on Netflix.
The primary resolution source for this market will be the Stranger Things title page on Netflix (episode list and availability), however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
