This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter that Merab Dvalishvili is officially announced to face in a UFC bout. Resolution for this market will be based on the next UFC fighter that Merab Dvalishvili is officially announced to fight, regardless of whether the fight ends up taking place. Only official announcements from the UFC, which include a scheduled date for the bout, will count. Announcements with no date or which do not confirm that the fight is official, speculation, or other unofficial announcements will not count. If Dvalishvili is officially announced to fight any non-listed fighter or no qualifying announcement is made by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/).Trader consensus prices Petr Yan at 78.5% implied probability to face bantamweight contender Merab Dvalishvili next, reflecting recent confirmations of a trilogy bout after their split results—Dvalishvili's 2023 decision win and Yan's title-capturing unanimous decision over the then-champion at UFC 323 in December 2025. Dvalishvili affirmed he's holding out exclusively for the rematch, backed by UFC assurances of a guaranteed title shot upon recovery, with both camps targeting mid-summer 2026 around International Fight Week or UFC 331. Umar Nurmagomedov lingers at 18.8% as the unbeaten top-ranked challenger potentially next in line, while Alexander Volkanovski (14.7%), Song Yadong (12.7%), and Sean O'Malley (9.4%) draw lesser volume amid trilogy momentum; Dvalishvili's non-UFC RAF wrestling bout versus Henry Cejudo on April 18 holds no bearing on Octagon scheduling.
