Mercedes' commanding lead in trader consensus for the F1 Constructors' Championship stems from their surging late-season form, including multiple podium sweeps and a dominant upgrade package that has elevated their qualifying pace and race pace on varied circuits. With George Russell delivering consistent points and Lewis Hamilton's experience anchoring the lineup into 2025 alongside rookie Kimi Antonelli, Mercedes benefits from power unit reliability amid rivals' struggles—Red Bull hampered by Sergio Perez's inconsistency and RBPT engine woes, Ferrari by occasional strategy misfires despite Charles Leclerc's brilliance, and McLaren lacking depth despite Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri's momentum. Recent Baku and Austin results underscore Mercedes' tire management edge, boosting implied probabilities while highlighting the tight 2024 title fight's volatility.
