George Russell holds a slim four-point lead in the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship standings with 51 points after back-to-back Mercedes 1-2 finishes—his Australia win and China P2—driving trader consensus to price him at 46.5% implied probability for the title. Teammate Kimi Antonelli trails closely at 47 points, boosted by his maiden China victory from pole and a fresh pole position in yesterday's Japanese Grand Prix qualifying at Suzuka, positioning him as the 32.9% second favorite amid the rookie's rapid adaptation to the superior Mercedes package. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (34 points) and Lewis Hamilton (33) lag after podiums but face Mercedes' early dominance, while Max Verstappen's eight points reflect Red Bull's struggles, widening the gap for the Silver Arrows duo in the wisdom-of-crowds pricing.
