Alexander Zverev holds the top position in the 2026 French Open winner market after pre-tournament favorite Jannik Sinner suffered a shocking second-round exit to Francisco Cerundolo amid illness and heat, while Carlos Alcaraz withdrew beforehand with a wrist injury. The German's strong recent clay-court form and deep Roland Garros runs, including a straight-sets fourth-round win, underpin trader consensus around his experience on the surface. Young Brazilian Joao Fonseca has climbed as the next option following his victory over Casper Ruud and rising ATP ranking, while players like Felix Auger-Aliassime, Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jodar, Matteo Berrettini, and Jakub Mensik reflect competitive depth among established and emerging clay specialists with realistic advancement paths.
