Incumbent Democrat Bonnie Watson Coleman holds a commanding lead in New Jersey's 12th Congressional District House race, reflected in trader consensus at 90.5% for the Democratic Party, driven by the district's strong Democratic lean (Cook PVI D+6), her consistent past victories with 70%+ margins, and recent polling showing her ahead by 20-30 points against Republican Scott Burrell. Voter registration favors Democrats 2:1, and central New Jersey's affluent suburbs prioritize issues like abortion rights and democracy where Democrats poll well. Challenges could arise from a national Republican wave, a major Watson Coleman scandal, or late GOP spending surges, though historical base rates in similar districts suggest low upset risk ahead of November 5.
