The claim requests a determination of basic eligibility for the Unemployment Insurance program.

This is a market on the (seasonally adjusted) number of Americans that filed initial jobless claims for the week ending on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if the United States Department of Labor reports that there were more than 213,000 seasonally adjusted initial claims for unemployment insurance for the week ending on September 10, 2022. Otherwise, if the number is equal to or lower than 213,000 this market will resolve to “No”.

The resolution source for this market will be the United States Department of Labor’s Weekly Unemployment Insurance Claims report for the week ending on Saturday, September 10, 2022, expected to be released on Thursday, September 15, 2022, 8:30 AM ET. Resolution of this market will take place upon release of the aforementioned data. If the relevant data is not available by September 22, 2022, 12:00 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50.
