This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter to be ranked 1st in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings, following Islam Makhachev. If Islam Makhachev remains #1 in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings through December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no next UFC fighter to be ranked 1st in the Pound-For-Pound rankings within this timeframe, this market will resolve to “Islam/No Next #1 in 2026”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Trader consensus favors Ilia Topuria at 59% implied probability to claim UFC pound-for-pound #1 status in 2026, driven by his undefeated 17-0 record, featherweight title win over Max Holloway, and subsequent lightweight strap capture against Charles Oliveira in mid-2025, positioning him as official #2 behind Islam Makhachev. Makhachev retains the top spot per April 14 rankings post-UFC 327, but prolonged inactivity—next defense eyed for summer—opens the door, reflected in the 28.5% for "Islam/None in 2026." Alex Pereira's 28.7% stems from his two-division title pedigree and heavyweight transition, with an interim belt shot versus Ciryl Gane at UFC White House on June 14 potentially catapulting him. Khamzat Chimaev's 24.3% underscores his 15-0 streak and #3 ranking amid middleweight dominance.

This market will resolve according to the next UFC fighter to be ranked 1st in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings, following Islam Makhachev.
