If there is no final data available by April 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, another credible resolution source will be chosen.Strong Thursday previews of $1.7 million and a robust Friday domestic gross of $6.4 million—A24's third-best opening day ever—have propelled trader consensus to near-certainty on "The Drama" exceeding $10 million for its April 3-5 opening weekend, with projections now clustering at $13-14 million despite competition from "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie." Zendaya and Robert Pattinson's star power, paired with an 83% Rotten Tomatoes score and Certified Fresh status, fueled pre-release buzz that previews and early walk-ups validated. A B CinemaScore signals solid but not exceptional word-of-mouth, leaving slim upset risk from a sharp Saturday-Sunday drop-off, though final tallies Monday will confirm.
