This market will resolve according to the team that wins the listed division during the 2025-26 NHL regular season. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win its division (e.g., mathematical elimination before season end), the relevant market will resolve immediately to “No.” If the 2025-26 NHL season is permanently canceled or has not been completed by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”Tampa Bay Lightning hold a narrow trader consensus edge at 47.5% implied probability over Buffalo Sabres at 42.6% to win the Atlantic Division, with both teams tied at 98 points atop the standings—Tampa at 46-21-6 (9 games remaining) and Buffalo at 45-21-8 (8 GR)—as the regular season nears its close. Tampa's extra game in hand and superior regulation-plus-overtime wins provide tiebreaker security, bolstered by playoff experience, but recent setbacks like Victor Hedman's personal leave and Nikita Kucherov's two-game illness absence fueled a loss to surging Montreal Canadiens (now 94 points on a six-win streak). Buffalo reclaimed momentum with a 4-3 win over the Islanders, setting up a pivotal April 6 head-to-head clash amid Tampa's grueling road trip through Buffalo, Ottawa, Montreal, and Boston. Fading Boston Bruins (92 points) trail distant third.
