Mercedes drivers dominate trader consensus for Japanese Grand Prix fastest lap at Suzuka, with George Russell leading at 39.5% implied probability after topping FP1 and FP2 timesheets on soft tires, showcasing superior single-lap pace and qualifying simulation runs. Teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli follows closely at 30%, buoyed by his impressive rookie debut weekend pace just 0.2s off Russell in practice, while Lewis Hamilton's 28.5% reflects his seven-time champion experience and strong long-run potential despite P6 in FP1. Max Verstappen (22%) and McLaren's Lando Norris/Oscar Piastri (21.5% each) lag due to Red Bull/McLaren's deficit in outright speed during sessions, amid clean track conditions and no major setup changes reported in the last 24 hours.
