For the purpose of this market, 'transgender women athlete' refers to an athlete assigned male at birth who identifies as female. This definition excludes intersex athletes (including those with differences in sex development) whose variations in sex characteristics do not involve a gender identity different from their assigned sex at birth, unless the athlete publicly identifies as transgender and this is widely and credibly confirmed.

Speculation, rumor, or unverified discussion suggesting that an athlete might be transgender will not suffice.

This market will resolve according to the team that wins Group F in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, scheduled for June 11-27, 2026.

If multiple teams tie as group winners, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

If the World Cup group stage is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared for this group within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially bans transgender women from competing in the female category by February 5, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A qualifying ban must affect at least one sport and apply to at least one clearly defined group, for example, transgender women who have undergone male puberty, individuals subject to specified testosterone-threshold policies, or athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD).

An official declaration of a qualifying ban within the specified timeframe will suffice, regardless of whether it is later revoked. 

Only IOC-imposed bans will qualify; bans or eligibility rules issued by other authorities, such as International Federations or National Olympic Committees, will not qualify.
