Mercedes' dominant start to the 2026 F1 season under new regulations has positioned George Russell and Kimi Antonelli as overwhelming trader favorites for the Drivers' Championship, with the teammates locking out podiums in the opening three Grands Prix. Russell's consistent P1 or P2 finishes across Australia (win), China, and Japan—coupled with his experience—anchors his 46.5% implied probability edge, while rookie Antonelli's back-to-back victories in China and Japan, including pole at Suzuka and the championship lead at 72 points to Russell's 63, fuels his 31.9% share despite a P4 in the latest race. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc trails at 5.3% after third-place results, as Mercedes' pace advantage shapes the wisdom-of-crowds consensus early on.
