This is a group market on which parties will win different districts in the 2022 U.S. House elections, scheduled for November 8 2022.

This market will resolve to “Democrat” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District (PA-07) is representing the Democratic Party, or to “Republican” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District (PA-07) is representing the Republican Party. 

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee, or has a ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable party preference, of the party in question.

If the winning candidate is from a party other than the Democratic or the Republican party, the market will resolve to 50/50.

Determination of the winner of this House election will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, final state election authority certification or other final official determination of the 2022 election results.


PA-07: Susan Wild vs. Lisa Scheller

This market will resolve to “Democrat” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Texas's 34th Congressional District (TX-34) is representing the Democratic Party, or to “Republican” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Texas's 34th Congressional District (TX-34) is representing the Republican Party. 

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee, or has a ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable party preference, of the party in question.

If the winning candidate is from a party other than the Democratic or the Republican party, the market will resolve to 50/50.

Determination of the winner of this House election will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, final state election authority certification or other final official determination of the 2022 election results.


TX-34: Vicente Gonzalez Jr. vs. Mayra Flores

This market will resolve to “Democrat” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Michigan's 7th Congressional District (MI-07) is representing the Democratic Party, or to “Republican” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Michigan's 7th Congressional District (MI-07) is representing the Republican Party. 

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee, or has a ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable party preference, of the party in question.

If the winning candidate is from a party other than the Democratic or the Republican party, the market will resolve to 50/50.

Determination of the winner of this House election will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, final state election authority certification or other final official determination of the 2022 election results.


MI-07: Elissa Slotkin vs. Tom Barrett

This market will resolve to “Democrat” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for California's 22nd Congressional District (CA-22) is representing the Democratic Party, or to “Republican” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for California's 22nd Congressional District (CA-22) is representing the Republican Party. 

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee, or has a ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable party preference, of the party in question.

If the winning candidate is from a party other than the Democratic or the Republican party, the market will resolve to 50/50.

This market will resolve to “Democrat” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Ohio's 9th Congressional District (OH-09) is representing the Democratic Party, or to “Republican” if the candidate who wins the 2022 election for Ohio's 9th Congressional District (OH-09) is representing the Republican Party. 

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee, or has a ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable party preference, of the party in question.

If the winning candidate is from a party other than the Democratic or the Republican party, the market will resolve to 50/50.

This market will resolve according to the party that controls the House of Representatives following the 2026 U.S. House elections scheduled for November 3, 2026.

House control is defined as having more than half of the voting members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

If the outcome of this election is ambiguous given the above rules, this market will remain open until the Speaker of the House is selected following the 2026 U.S. general election, at which point it will resolve to the party the Speaker is affiliated with at the time of their election to that position. If the elected Speaker does not caucus with any listed party this market will resolve “Other”.

Determination of which party controls the House after the 2026 U.S. House elections will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, final federal and/or state election authority certification or other final official determination of the 2026 election results.

Will the Democratic Party control the House after the 2026 Midterm elections?

This market will resolve according to the party of the candidate who wins the CO-08 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The midterm elections will take place on November 4, 2026.
