The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Toronto Pearson Intl Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/ca/mississauga/CYYZ. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Environment Canada's latest forecast for April 1 at Toronto Pearson International Airport projects a daytime high of 9°C under cloudy morning skies clearing to afternoon sunshine, with north winds strengthening to 30 km/h ushering in cooler post-frontal air—aligning closely with trader-implied odds favoring 10°C (35.5%) over 9°C (26.4%). This tight clustering reflects inherent uncertainty in peak timing amid variable cloud cover and wind shear, as ensemble models like GFS and GEM show spreads of 8–11°C depending on frontal passage speed. Morning observations near 13°C on March 31 suggest residual warmth could nudge toward 11°C (15.2%) if clearing accelerates, while historical early-April averages (~10°C) and below-normal monthly outlook temper upside risks. Hourly updates from ECCC through evening will sharpen resolution.
