If this market requires a specified number of mentions of a person’s first or last name, a full-name mention will count as one mention (e.g., if a market is about “Joe / Biden 5+ times,” a mention of “Joe Biden” will count once). The resolution source for this market will be footage of the relevant briefing.President-elect Donald Trump's November 15 appointment of 27-year-old Karoline Leavitt as White House Press Secretary has traders anticipating her messaging style in upcoming briefings, expected after the January 20, 2025, inauguration when the Trump administration assumes control of the podium from the Biden team. Leavitt's campaign role, marked by sharp critiques of opponents and media, suggests focus on transition priorities like border security, mass deportations, tariffs, and cabinet nominations amid Senate confirmation battles. No briefings have occurred yet, with the "next" one undefined until post-inauguration scheduling; recent announcements on acting officials and policy executive actions provide clues to likely topics, while late-breaking transition news could shift expectations.
