FlightAware data shows only 57 U.S. flight cancellations early March 28, far below the 500 threshold, anchoring trader consensus at 74% for "No" as the day progresses without major disruptions. The FAA's latest air traffic report flags potential delays from high winds at New York-area airports (EWR, JFK, LGA) and Philadelphia (PHL), thunderstorms near Chicago (ORD, MDW) and Indianapolis (IND), plus low clouds at San Diego (SAN), but no nationwide ground stops or NOTAMs signaling mass cancellations. Recovery from mid-March winter storms, which canceled thousands of flights, has stabilized operations, with National Airspace System status indicating only localized general aviation closures and a prolonged LGA ground delay. Absent new catalysts like severe weather or air traffic control failures, traders anticipate totals staying under 500 by end-of-day.
