Recent polling ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election shows the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead at roughly 27–29 percent, with the Sweden Democrats holding steady in second place near 19–20 percent and the Moderates in third around 17 percent. This ordering has persisted through the campaign despite a narrowing gap between the right-wing Tidö bloc and the centre-left opposition. The Sweden Democrats’ position reflects sustained voter support for their emphasis on immigration controls, integration, and law-and-order measures that shaped government policy during the current term. Recent surveys indicate the Liberals have climbed above the 4 percent threshold, bolstering the right bloc’s seat prospects, yet no other party has mounted a credible challenge to the Sweden Democrats’ standing as the second-largest force. Trader consensus therefore assigns the Sweden Democrats an overwhelming probability of finishing second.
