The National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) award given since the 1955–56 season to the best performing player of the regular season.

The award is decided by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada. As of the 2020–21 season, the current holder of the award is Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Joel Embiid wins the NBA ’21-’22 Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, and “No” otherwise.

The Finals of the 2021–22 NBA season are set to begin on June 2 2022, with a potential Game 7 scheduled for June 19.
