Trader consensus on Polymarket prices BTS's "Arirang" first-week album sales under 3 million copies at a near-certain 100% implied probability, reflecting skepticism around Hanteo Chart figures amid post-hiatus dynamics and sharp daily sales drop-off after a reported 3.98 million first-day surge on March 20. Recent developments, including March 26-27 dailies plummeting to 100k and 10k copies respectively, underscore fading momentum despite massive pre-orders exceeding 4 million, with competition from groups like SEVENTEEN and Stray Kids fragmenting K-pop buyer attention and solo member activities diluting group focus. Historical precedent post-military service shows tempered debuts; an upset would require official Circle Chart confirmation above 3 million—potentially 4.17 million per preliminary Hanteo totals—or late-week streaming/sales revisions boosting the 3m-3.5m bin before resolution.
