This market will resolve according to the margin of victory (MoV) for Democrat Zohran Mamdani in the 2025 New York City mayoral general election, scheduled for November 4, 2025.

For the purpose of resolving this market, the “margin of victory” is defined as the absolute percentage-point difference between Mamdani’s certified vote share and the vote share of the runner-up (the candidate with the second-highest number of votes) in the certified results.

If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.

If Zohran Mamdani does not receive the most votes in the certified results, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket.

This market will resolve based on the official certified results as published by the New York City Board of Elections.

If a recount is initiated prior to certification, the market will remain open until the recount is completed and the results are certified. A recount initiated after certification will not affect market resolution.

If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.

If the election does not occur by February 28, 2026, this market will resolve to the lowest listed bracket.

This market will resolve based on the certified results released by the New York City board of Elections New York City Board of Elections (https://vote.nyc/).

Will Mamdani get over 50% of the vote in the general mayoral election?

The 2025 New York City mayoral election is scheduled to be held on November 4, 2025, to elect the mayor of New York City.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if all of the following conditions are met:

- Mamdani wins Queens in NYC Mayoral Election
- Hakeem Jeffries endorses Mamdani
- Zohran Mamdani Margin of Victory at least 10%
- Mamdani gets over 50% of the vote in the general mayoral election

Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

This market will remain open until it is confirmed that at least one of the above conditions has not been met, or until all of the above conditions have been met.

If no general election for Mayor of New York City occurs by February 28, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the results are otherwise unknown by that date, this market will resolve 50-50.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if all of the following conditions are met:

This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 New York gubernatorial election.

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee of the party in question. Candidates other than the Democratic or Republican nominee (e.g., Greens, Libertarian, independent) may be added at a later date.

Candidates who run as independents will not be encompassed by the “Democrat” or “Republican” options regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party.

The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. This market will resolve to "Proposition 50" if the margin of victory in the California referendum is greater than in the New York City Mayor election.

For the purpose of this market, the “margin of victory” is defined as the difference in percentage points between the Democratic and Republican vote shares in the mayoral election and between the “Yes” and “No” vote shares in the referendum.

If the Democratic candidate and the “Yes” position fail to win, this market will resolve to the contest in which they lost by the smaller margin.

This market will resolve to "Sliwa" if Curtis Sliwa receives more votes than Eric Adams in the 2025 New York City Mayoral Election. 

This market will resolve to "Adams" if Eric Adams receives more votes than Curtis Sliwa in the 2025 New York City Mayoral Election.

This market will resolve based on the official certified results as published by the New York City Board of Elections.

If any named candidate publicly suspends or ends their campaign but remains on the certified ballot, the market will stay open and resolve according to the certified totals for both candidates. If one of the above-specified candidates is removed from the accredited ballot for any reason, this market will resolve to the candidate who remains on the ballot. If both candidates are taken off the accredited ballot simultaneously or if both candidates receive the exact same number of votes, this market will resolve 50-50.

If a recount is initiated prior to certification, the market will remain open until the recount is completed and the results are certified. A recount initiated after certification will not affect market resolution.


Will Sliwa or Adams get more votes?

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Zohran Mamdani ceases to be the mayor of New York City for any period of time between taking office and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

If Zohran Mamdani does not take office as the 111th Mayor of New York City, succeeding Eric Adams, as currently scheduled for January 1, 2026, by February 1, 2026, 11:59 PM ET this market will resolve to “Yes.”

An announcement of Zohran Mamdani's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Zohran Mamdani, his representatives, or the Office of the Mayor of New York City; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also suffice.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Eric Adams is removed as the Mayor of New York City though any formal process, including by the Governor of New York, the New York City Council, through a criminal conviction, or any other non voluntary process before his current term, scheduled to end December 31, is completed. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

If Adams ceases to hold office for any length of time via a non-qualifying process, this market will resolve to "No".

Will Eric Adams be removed as NYC mayor?

This market will resolve to “Yes” if both the following occur:

1. Zohran Mamdani wins the 2025 NYC Mayoral election.

2. The New York City Rent Guidelines Board implements rent adjustments at 0.0 % for both one-year and two-year renewal leases for rent-stabilized apartments citywide by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.

The policy will be considered implemented only if a 0.0 % increases for both one-year and two-year renewal leases is in effect by the resolution date. An announced intention or proposed order not yet effective will not qualify. Orders that are blocked, enjoined, or otherwise prevented from taking effect by the deadline will not qualify.

If the policy is enacted through another official mechanism, including but not limited to a mayoral executive order, local legislation, or state law, and goes into effect by the resolution date it will qualify.

Orders that apply only to one lease term (e.g., 0 % on one-year but > 0 % on two-year), apply only to specific unit types (e.g., hotels or SROs), or relate to non-stabilized units will not qualify. Policies which include limited exceptions — such as exclusions for specific categories of rent-stabilized units (e.g., hardship exemptions, temporarily exempt buildings, or administrative carveouts) — will still qualify as long as a general policy of 0 % rent adjustment for both one-year and two-year renewal leases on rent-stabilized apartments and lofts is in effect citywide.

If Mamdani is confirmed to have lost the 2025 NYC Mayoral election by a consensus of credible reporting, this market will immediately resolve to “No.”

This market will resolve to “Yes” if both the following occur:

1. Zohran Mamdani wins the 2025 NYC Mayoral election.

2. A policy is enacted in New York City before December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, which would establish a minimum wage of at least $30 an hour, effective by December 31, 2030, or earlier. 

The policy will be considered to have been enacted if a local or state law is passed, or mayoral executive order is issued which will bring the stated minimum wage into effect within the specified timeframe. The introduction, proposal, or announcement of such a policy without legal enactment will not qualify.

The enactment of a policy that initiates a structured increase of the minimum wage to at least $30 an hour in NYC over the course of several years will qualify for an immediate "Yes" resolution, so long as that policy explicitly outlines it will achieve that level by the stated date.

Enactment of limited or temporary pilots which are not formally intended for citywide expansion (e.g., policies that explicitly cover only select boroughs, neighborhoods, or time periods) will not count.

Policies which include limited exceptions—such as such as exceptions for restaurant workers, etc.—will still qualify as long as a general policy of a $30 per hour minimum wage in New York City by 2030 is enacted.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if an Erewhon opens in New York City, New York, by December 31, 2025 ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

An announcement that an Erewhon location has officially opened for service within the territory of NYC will suffice to resolve this market to "Yes".

1. Zohran Mamdani wins the 2025 NYC Mayoral election. 

2. The New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority implements a policy under which the base local fare for regularly scheduled MTA bus routes operating within New York City (New York City Transit and MTA Bus Company) is $0 by March 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. 

The policy will be considered to have been implemented if it is actively in effect by the resolution date. The enactment of a policy without its implementation will not alone qualify. Policies which are blocked by legal or other means before they go into effect will similarly not qualify.  

Limited pilots (e.g., a subset of routes or specific days), temporary “fare holidays,” or targeted free-fare programs (e.g., only youth, seniors, or low-income riders) do not qualify.

Policies which include limited exceptions such as express-bus fares, fares on specific lines (such as Airport lines) or other exclusions will still qualify as long as a general policy of $0 fare  for regularly scheduled MTA bus routes is in effect. 

If Mamdani is confirmed to have lost the 2025 NYC Mayoral election by a consensus of credible reporting this market will immediately resolve to “No”.

The policy will be considered to have been implemented if at least one such store is open for regular grocery retail sales to the public by the resolution date. The enactment or announcement of a policy without an operational, open store will not alone qualify. Policies that are blocked, cancelled, or not yet in effect by the resolution date will similarly not qualify.

Limited pilots, studies, planning initiatives, or temporary pop-up markets which don’t regularly operate as regular grocery stores do not qualify.

Partnerships which include partial city ownership will qualify as long as the store is substantively under City of New York control. Partnerships with non-profit or other operators which don’t include direct city ownership of the store will not qualify. 

Only stores that are initiated, approved, or opened during Zohran Mamdani’s mayoralty and that are described in credible reporting or official City communications as part of the “city-owned grocery store” initiative associated with his campaign platform will qualify. Grocery stores created by previous or subsequent administrations, or any other government-run or subsidized retail programs that are not reasonably attributable to the Mamdani administration’s city-owned grocery store policy, will not qualify.

If Mamdani is confirmed to have lost the 2025 NYC Mayoral election by a consensus of credible reporting, this market will immediately resolve to “No.”

Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in Honduras on November 30, 2025. 

This market will resolve according to the listed candidate that wins this election. 

This market includes any potential second round. If the result of this election isn't known by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other".

This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the next Ukrainian presidential election is scheduled by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

This market is about whether a date for the next Ukrainian election is announced between February 14, 2025, and June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Whether the election is supposed to take place during this timeframe or later will have no effect on the resolution of this market.

The 2028 United States presidential election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2028.

This market will resolve to the political party whose candidate is elected the next President of the United States in the 2028 election.

The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same party. If all three sources haven’t called the race for the same party by the inauguration date (January 20, 2029) this market will resolve based on who is inaugurated.

Will the Democrats win the 2028 US Presidential Election?

The New York State Gaming Facility Location Board is expected to announce its decision on awarding up to three new casino licenses by December.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed project is officially granted a license by February 28, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".

An announcement alone will not count as a "Yes" resolution; only the issuance of an official license will qualify.

This market will resolve to "No" if the granting of such a license becomes impossible for a listed project, for example, if the application is officially declined.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if both the following occur:

1. Zohran Mamdani wins the 2025 NYC Mayoral election.

2. A policy is enacted in New York City before December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, which would establish a tax increase of 2% or more targeting individuals, households, or family units with an income of at least $1 million (USD or equivalent).

When the proposed tax goes into effect (e.g., if a qualifying tax is enacted for the 2028 fiscal year) will have no bearing on this market's resolution, so long as the policy has actually been enacted within this market's timeframe.

The policy will be considered to have been enacted if a local or state law is passed, or mayoral executive order is issued which will bring the stated tax into effect within the specified timeframe. The introduction, proposal, or announcement of such a policy without legal enactment will not qualify.

Policies which include limited exceptions—such as such as exceptions for specific families, asset classes, etc.—will still qualify as long as a general tax as described is enacted.

If Mamdani is confirmed to have lost the 2025 NYC Mayoral election by a consensus of credible reporting, or if the stated terms are not satisfied within this market's timeframe, this market will immediately resolve to “No”.

Will Mamdani pass the 2% Millionaire Tax before 2027?

This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 midterm New Jersey U.S. Senate election, inclusive of any run-offs.

A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee of the party in question. Candidates other than the Democratic or Republican nominee (e.g., Greens, Libertarian, independent) may be added at a later date.

Candidates who run as independents will not be encompassed by the “Democrat” or “Republican” options regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if any Federal or State jurisdiction of the United States formally charges or otherwise announces a criminal indictment of former Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

For the purposes of this market the District of Columbia and any county, municipality, or other subdivision of a State shall be included within the definition of a State.
