Note: reaching the Play-In Tournament will not qualify as making the Playoffs. To make the NBA Playoffs, a team must earn one of the 16 spots in the postseason bracket. If at any point it becomes impossible for this team to make the Playoffs based on the rules of the NBA (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated from reaching the Play-In), this market will resolve immediately to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA.Detroit Pistons clinched the Eastern Conference No. 1 seed with a recent win, securing direct playoff entry alongside Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Cleveland Cavaliers, who locked top-6 spots to avoid the play-in tournament. In the West, Oklahoma City Thunder (61-16) and San Antonio Spurs (59-18, 11 straight wins) lead standings, with Denver Nuggets (eight straight victories) holding fourth, while Lakers risk slipping from third after Luka Dončić's Grade 2 hamstring strain and Austin Reaves' oblique injury sidelined both for remaining games. Play-in contenders include rising Hawks (East fifth), Portland (West eighth), Suns (seventh), and tight battles for Nos. 7-10 spots; eliminated teams: Bucks, Bulls, Nets, Pacers, Wizards. With four games left, strength of schedule and rest advantages loom large before April 14-17 play-in.
