If the 2026 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament is cancelled, postponed after April 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Michigan Wolverines' national championship triumph over UConn in the 2026 NCAA Tournament final on April 6 propelled point guard Elliot Cadeau to official Most Outstanding Player honors, reflecting trader consensus at 100% implied probability on Polymarket. Cadeau's tournament dominance—highlighted by double-doubles, elite playmaking with 10 assists in the Final Four semifinal rout of Arizona, and selfless leadership despite modest shooting (37% field goal)—elevated Michigan from Big Ten regular-season champs through March Madness, outshining peers like Duke's Cameron Boozer, BYU's AJ Dybantsa, and Purdue's Braden Smith. This skin-in-the-game pricing locks in post-announcement certainty, with only rare resolution disputes (e.g., administrative errors) posing realistic challenges.
