Trader consensus heavily tilts toward Major League Soccer for Cristiano Ronaldo's next club post his Al-Nassr contract expiration in June 2025, with LA Galaxy (27.6%) leading due to its track record of signing aging superstars like David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimović amid the league's Designated Player rules favoring high-profile imports. A tight pack at 9-10%—Austin FC, Charlotte FC, Nashville SC, FC Cincinnati, Toronto FC, and St. Louis CITY SC—differentiates via ambitious ownership, new facilities, and untapped markets, outpacing nostalgic European bids like Real Madrid (8.6%) or Sporting CP (8.5%) lacking firm links. Ronaldo's vague hints at MLS interest fuel the spread, but no confirmed negotiations exist in this unpredictable free-agency sweepstakes.
