Mercedes' commanding lead in the 2026 F1 Constructors' Championship, reflected in trader consensus at 78.5% implied probability, stems from back-to-back 1-2 finishes in the Australian and Chinese Grands Prix, powered by superior adaptation to new active aerodynamics and sustainable power unit regulations. George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli's podium sweeps—Antonelli winning China and leading drivers' standings with 72 points—have built a 31-point gap over Ferrari after two rounds. Ferrari trails at 10.5% with consistent Leclerc-Hamilton top-fives but lacks Mercedes' race pace edge. McLaren's 7.2% reflects sporadic points amid setup issues, while Red Bull's 1.6% highlights struggles in the midfield pack, underscoring Mercedes' early dominance under the revamped rules.
