If Magnus Carlsen loses any game in the 2022 Norway Chess this market will resolve to “Yes”. If Magnus Carlsen draws and/or wins every game this market will resolve to “No”.

Only the 9 round-robin games will be considered for this market. Tie-Breaks will not be considered for this market.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Magnus Carlsen wins both the FIDE World Rapid Open Championship and the FIDE World Blitz Open Championship at this event. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

If Carlsen is eliminated from contention to win either the World Rapid Open Championship or the World Blitz Open Championship, this market will resolve immediately to “No”.

If 2025 FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Championships are cancelled, postponed after March 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”.

This polymarket will resolve to "Yes" if Magnus Carlsen publicly apologizes to Hans Niemann by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".

To qualify for a "Yes" resolution:

Magnus Carlsen must publicly apologize, mention Hans Niemann by name, and clearly express regret for the backlash or consequences Niemann faced related to the 2022 cheating controversy.

The apology must be made before December 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET and be publicly accessible.

Statements that are vague, do not name Niemann, or express only general regret will not qualify as "Yes" for this market.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Russia initiates a drone, missile, or air strike on the sovereign territory of any NATO member state or on any official embassy or consulate of a NATO member state between December 4, 2025, and March 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

For the purposes of this market, a qualifying "strike" is defined as the use of aerial bombs, drones, or missiles (including cruise or ballistic missiles) launched by Russian military forces that impact the ground territory of a NATO member state or an official embassy/consulate of a NATO member (e.g., if a weapons depot on NATO territory is hit by a Russian missile, this market will resolve to "Yes").

Missiles or drones that are intercepted (i.e., do not impact) and surface-to-air missile launches will not be sufficient for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether debris falls on NATO territory or causes damage.

Actions such as artillery fire, small arms fire, FPV or ATGM strikes conducted directly by ground operatives, ground incursions, naval shelling, cyberattacks, or other operations conducted by Russian ground operatives will not qualify.

Any on-field appearance as a player will qualify, in regulation, stoppage time, extra time, for a shootout, etc.

This market will resolve according to the country that wins the most gold medals at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, scheduled for February 6-22, 2026.

In the case of ties, the ordered list for most gold medals won will use most overall medals won as a tiebreaker (e.g. If Norway and China tie for most gold medals won, and Norway wins more overall medals than China, Norway will be ranked first and China will be second). If this also results in a tie, the country whose name comes first in alphabetical order, as listed in this market group, will be ranked higher.

This market will resolve based on the medal figures as they stand after medals are awarded for the final event in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. Later changes to medal counts will not be considered toward the resolution of this market.

If the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics are partially completed and then cancelled or postponed after December 31, 2026, this market will resolve based on the gold medals awarded in the completed events. If the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics are entirely cancelled or postponed after December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other”.

This market will resolve according to the team that wins Group C in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, scheduled for June 11-27, 2026.

If multiple teams tie as group winners, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

If the World Cup group stage is cancelled, postponed after September 30, 2026, or there is otherwise no winner declared for this group within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
