The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Miami Intl Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/miami/KMIA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket splits nearly evenly between 90-91°F (50%) and 92°F or higher (50%) for Miami International Airport's highest temperature on April 5, reflecting inherent uncertainty in four-day forecasts amid a building high-pressure ridge over Florida. Following a cool 2025-2026 winter—the chilliest since 2010—fading La Niña conditions and an eastward-shifting heat dome have spurred subsidence warming, light winds, and ample sunshine under extreme drought conditions that limit cloud cover. National Weather Service guidance and GFS/ECMWF ensembles currently cluster around upper 80s, but model spread highlights risks of ridge amplification pushing peaks higher versus sea breeze moderation capping them. Daily NWS updates through April 4 will refine probabilities against April climatological norms near 82°F and the 1939 record of 90°F.
