Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects overwhelming confidence that GTA 6's standard edition will stick to conventional AAA pricing around $70-$80 MSRP, as hinted by Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick in recent earnings calls emphasizing value delivery amid blockbuster expectations. Historical precedent from GTA V's $60 launch, adjusted for inflation, bolsters this view, with early retailer listings like Loaded's £90 GBP (roughly $115 USD) dismissed as unverified or region-specific outliers rather than base pricing signals. No official Rockstar announcement has suggested a $100+ threshold, and deluxe/collector's editions are expected to absorb premium costs. Realistic upsets could arise from a surprise preorder pricing reveal exceeding $100 for the base game or macroeconomic pressures inflating costs, but these face steep barriers given the game's massive projected sales trajectory ahead of its November 19, 2026 console debut. Watch for preorder launches as the key near-term catalyst.
