Trader consensus favors Catherine Trautmann at 54% implied probability to win the 2026 Strasbourg mayoral election, propelled by recent polls like the November Ifop survey showing her leading first-round voting intentions at 31%, ahead of incumbent Jeanne Barseghian's 22%. Trautmann's edge stems from her prior tenure as mayor and national Socialist profile, capitalizing on left-wing divisions and voter fatigue with Barseghian's green-led administration amid budget strains and urban planning disputes. Jeanne Barseghian holds 40% on reelection momentum despite trailing, while Jean-Philippe Veter's 11% reflects National Rally's limited local traction. No major catalysts have shifted odds recently, with focus on early 2025 campaign endorsements.
