Trader consensus in the New Jersey 11th congressional district House race strongly favors the Democratic incumbent, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, at 89.5% implied probability, reflecting her consistent electoral success, including a 13-point 2022 victory, and the district's competitive but Democratic-leaning suburban profile in Morris, Sussex, and parts of Essex and Warren counties. Recent polls from Emerson College and others show Sherrill leading Republican nominee Justin Barbera by 15-20 points, bolstered by her fundraising superiority—over $6 million raised versus Barbera's under $1 million—and endorsements from local figures. No major shifts have emerged post-June primaries, where Sherrill ran unopposed and Barbera prevailed narrowly, with national headwinds offset by her moderate record on defense and infrastructure. Markets await early voting trends and October debates as potential movers.
