Trader consensus on Polymarket overwhelmingly backs BTS's 'Arirang' first-week album sales falling under 3 million units (98.7% implied probability), reflecting the group's ongoing military enlistment hiatus that limits promotional firepower and full-scale comeback momentum. Without new original tracks or stadium tours, this special release—tied to Korean cultural heritage via the traditional folk song—lacks the explosive debut potential of past juggernauts like Map of the Soul: 7, which topped 4 million. Hanteo and Circle Chart early tracking shows modest pre-orders amid competition from K-pop rivals, underscoring tempered fan expectations. An upset to 3m+ would require viral TikTok surges, surprise collabs, or last-minute physical stock boosts before sales lock, though historical patterns for non-comeback projects make that a long shot. Next chart update looms as the key catalyst.
