The world No. 5 American's consistent baseline grinding and Charleston title defense contrast Jovic's breakout run, including upsets over Sofia Kenin and Anna Kalinskaya, fueled by aggressive shot-making and rising momentum at age 18. No injuries reported from official updates; outdoor conditions favor Pegula's experience in tight sets, though Jovic's power poses upset risk in this all-American semifinal. Trader consensus reflects Pegula's superior rankings, surface history, and rest edge post-earlier rounds.
