On Sunday, June 12, 2022, the Celsius Network (celsius.network) announced that it is suspending all withdrawals, Swaps, and transfers between accounts indefinitely "due to extreme market conditions". Celsius is one of the largest cryptocurrency platforms in the market, and is estimated to have 1.7 million customers.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Celsius Lending LLC announces that it will declare bankruptcy, is declaring bankruptcy, or has declared bankruptcy of any variety by July 13, 2022, 11:59:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

For a positive resolution to this market to occur, Celsius need only announce that they will declare bankruptcy, are declaring bankruptcy, or have declared bankruptcy by the resolution date, regardless of whether bankruptcy is actually declared at any time.

An "announcement by Celsius" must be made through any of their official or verified channels (https://celsius.network/, https://twitter.com/celsiusnetwork, https://blog.celsius.network/, https://www.instagram.com/celsiusnetwork/, etc.), as a recorded or written statement by their CEO, legal representation, or other individual or team which officially represents Celsius Lending LLC. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used to determine whether Celsius has issued such an announcement.
