Elon Musk's March 12 Abundance Summit remarks confirmed low-volume Gen 3 production starting summer 2026—featuring superior dexterity with 22 degrees-of-freedom hands—ramping to high-volume in 2027, outpacing rivals like Xiaomi's factory trials. Trader consensus reflects optimism on these milestones amid competitive humanoid race, but Q1 2026 Gen 3 reveal delays and Tesla's history of timeline slippage temper expectations, with April events as key near-term catalysts.
