This positioning aligns with climatological norms for late March, where Houston averages mid-70s but sees occasional warm spikes from Gulf moisture. Realistic challenges include an unexpected increase in marine layer clouds or a subtle cold front nudge, potentially capping highs at 81°F or pushing to 84°F, though current soundings and satellite data show low likelihood before resolution via official observations at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
