In the 2024 MLB American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians:

If the New York Yankees win the series, the market will resolve to “Yankees”.

If the Cleveland Guardians win the series, the market will resolve to “Guardians”.

The resolution source will be MLB.com.

This polymarket will resolve to "Yes" if the Cleveland Guardians, the team ownership, or Major League Baseball (MLB) officially announces that the team will change its name back to the Cleveland Indians by December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

Only announcements of an official team name change to “Cleveland Indians,” or any name that explicitly includes the word “Indians” in the team name, will qualify. Speculative statements, informal statements of intent, or announcements of changes to mascots, logos, uniforms, or other team branding elements that do not constitute an official name change will not qualify.

Official announcements will qualify regardless of if or when the name change takes effect.

The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.

Will Cleveland change name to "Indians" in 2025? 

This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Eastern Conference during the 2025-26 NHL Playoffs.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the Eastern Conference (e.g., elimination from the playoffs), the relevant market will resolve immediately to “No.”

If the 2025-26 NHL season is permanently canceled or the playoffs have not been completed by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”

Will the Carolina Hurricanes win the Eastern Conference?

This market will resolve according to the winner of the listed division for the 2025–2026 NBA Eastern Conference Finals. 

If it becomes impossible for this team to win based on the rules of the NBA this market will resolve to “No”. 

If multiple teams share the same record, official NBA tie breaking rules will be used to determine the outcome.

The resolution source for this market will be information from the NBA.

Will the New York Knicks win the 2025–2026 NBA Atlantic Division?

Will the Detroit Pistons win the 2025–2026 NBA Central Division?

This market will resolve according to the team that finishes with the best regular season record in the 2025-2026 NFL American Football Conference (AFC).

This market will resolve to “No” if it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish the 2025- 2026 NFL regular season with the best regular season record in the AFC.

If multiple teams are tied for the best record in the AFC in the 2025-2026 NFL regular season, this market will resolve in favor of the team that receives the number 1 seed in the AFC for the 2026 NFL Playoffs. This market will resolve according to the team that wins the listed division during the 2025-26 NHL regular season.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win its division (e.g., mathematical elimination before season end), the relevant market will resolve immediately to “No.”

If the 2025-26 NHL season is permanently canceled or has not been completed by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”

Will the Tampa Bay Lightning win the Atlantic Division?

This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Western Conference during the 2025-26 NHL Playoffs.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the Western Conference (e.g., elimination from the playoffs), the relevant market will resolve immediately to “No.”

If the 2025-26 NHL season is permanently canceled or the playoffs have not been completed by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”

If multiple teams are tied for most wins in the 2025–26 NBA Regular Season in the Eastern Conference, this market will resolve in favor of the team that receives the number 1 seed for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. This is a polymarket to predict whether a team from the AFC or the NFC will win the NFL 2025-26 Super Bowl.

If the winning team of the 2025-26 Super Bowl is from the AFC, this market will resolve to "AFC".

If the winning team of the 2025-26 Super Bowl is from the NFC, this market will resolve to "NFC".

If the Super Bowl is canceled or not completed by May 31, 2026, this market will resolve to 50–50.

The primary resolution source will be official information from the NFL. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
