Chen suffered a shocking quarterfinal exit at WTT Singapore Smash 2026 to Chen Yi (0-4 on Feb. 28) and a main draw loss to wildcard Shi Xunyao (1-3) at WTT Champions Chongqing last week (March 13), exposing vulnerabilities in her aggressive style amid a packed schedule.
