This market will resolve to "Yes" if Volodymyr Zelenskyy makes any public statement on December 28, 2025 (ET) in which he insults, mocks, or attacks Donald Trump personally or professionally in a clearly negative manner. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

This includes calling Trump weak, stupid, disloyal, a failure, using an insulting nickname, using other derogatory language, or using the negative form of a positive trait in a derogatory personal way (e.g., “Trump isn’t smart”). Negative forms used in reference to Trump's professional actions, policies, or decisions (e.g., “Trump isn’t being smart about this policy”) will not count. Policy disagreements stated without disparaging language will not count.

A direct reference will qualify even if Trump is not named, so long as it is reasonably clear from context that he is the subject.

Any written, verbal, or recorded public statement by Zelenskyy qualifies.

This includes calling Nicholas J. Fuentes weak, stupid, disloyal, a failure, using an insulting nickname, using other derogatory language, or using the negative form of a positive trait in a derogatory personal way (e.g., “Nick isn’t smart”). Negative forms used in reference to Nicholas J. Fuentes’s professional actions, policies, or decisions (e.g., “Nick isn’t being smart about this policy”) will not count. An exchange of words, handshake, direct conversation, or other clear personal interaction between the named individuals will qualify as a meeting. Merely standing in proximity, making eye contact, or being present in the same room or event without direct interaction will not qualify.

The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.

Will Trump meet with Zelenskyy by December 28?

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Volodymyr Zelenskyy is photographed or videotaped wearing a Western-style suit and tie in the physical presence of Trump at any point during their next in-person meeting period between November 24, 2025, and March 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.

A “meeting period” refers to the full continuous span of time associated with their next in-person engagement. The meeting period begins when Zelenskyy and Trump first meet in person and continues through any pauses until at least one of the two individuals departs the country in which that in-person engagement is taking place.

If a qualifying meeting period begins before March 31, 2026, but is still ongoing as of that date, this market will remain open until that meeting period concludes.

A Western-style suit and tie refers to a conventional business suit consisting of a jacket, trousers, dress shirt, and necktie, as commonly understood in Western formal or business attire.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin talk by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".

A talk is defined as any interaction between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin, occurring either in person or through verbal communication by phone or video call.

Events that occurred prior to the start of this market will not qualify toward its resolution.

The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announces he has resigned or will resign the presidency by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."

If it becomes impossible for Volodymyr Zelenskyy to resign or to announce his resignation (e.g., due to his removal from office by other means, etc.), this market will immediately resolve to "No."

For this market to resolve to "Yes," it is only necessary that Zelenskyy announce that he has resigned or will resign. Whether he actually resigns will have no bearing on the resolution of this market.

For the purpose of this market, a "visit" is defined as Zelenskyy physically entering the terrestrial or maritime territory of the listed country. Whether or not Zelenskyy enters the country's airspace during the timeframe of this market will have no bearing on a positive resolution.

The primary resolution source for this information will be official information from the government of Ukraine, official information from Zelenskyy, or information released by his verified social media accounts; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy hug by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

Video or photographic evidence must be released within the market’s time frame to qualify.

A qualifying hug is defined as an in-person greeting or gesture involving the two individuals wrapping at least one arm around the other individual's shoulders or back while facing each other in a manner consistent with a hug.

Gestures where only one individual places an arm around the other, or where both individuals place arms around each other while standing side by side and not facing each other, will not qualify as a hug. A qualifying arrest/detention includes:

This market will resolve according to the length of the longest filmed handshake between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the day (ET) of their next meeting in 2025. Any handshake recorded on that date (ET) will qualify.

If no handshake occurs during the date of their next meeting, or if no meeting takes place by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No Handshake”.

If a handshake is photographed but not captured on video, this market will resolve to "Photographed only".

Duration will be measured from the exact moment their hands make initial physical contact until the exact moment either breaks contact.

If the measured duration falls exactly on the boundary between two duration brackets, this market will resolve to the higher bracket.

Qualifying Requirements:

This market will resolve to “No” if any of the following conditions are met between September 23, 2025, and December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET:

- Russia invades a NATO country

Otherwise, this market will resolve to “Yes”.
