This market asks whether United States Senator Mitt Romney will vote in favor of confirming Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) by December 31, 2022.
If Mitt Romney votes in favor of confirming Ketanji Brown Jackson to the SCOTUS by December 31, 2022, 11:59:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Yes”. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.
Outcomes of committee votes, hearings, reports, cloture votes, or other procedural votes will have no impact on the resolution of this market.
This market only concerns the first such Senate confirmation vote for Ketanji Brown Jackson to the SCOTUS. If Mitt Romney does not vote, or does not have a vote in favor, the market will resolve to "No."
The primary resolution source is the official vote tally reported by the United States Senate (https://www.senate.gov/legislative/nominations/SupremeCourtNominations1789present.htm), however other credible reporting may also be used. Once the vote has been closed and the result of the vote announced, any request by any senator to add, remove, or alter a vote will not be considered in the resolution of this market, regardless of any change to the official vote tally reported by the primary resolution source or any other source.
