Trader consensus favors Konrad Laimer at 44% implied probability for most red cards in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League, reflecting his tenacious midfield pressing for Bayern Munich and a disciplinary suspension from mid-December 2025 to late January 2026 due to accumulated bookings in the competition. Álvaro Fernández Carreras (34%) gained attention after a straight red card in La Liga against Celta Vigo in early December, highlighting his full-back aggression at Benfica. Mikel Merino (33.6%) and Declan Rice (30%) both served UCL suspensions in January from yellow card tallies, underscoring Arsenal's midfield discipline risks amid knockout progression. Santiago Hezze's controversial second-yellow dismissal versus Barcelona in October and Kim Min-Jae's sending-off against Union Saint-Gilloise in January position them strongly, as deep tournament runs expose combative players to intensified referee scrutiny in high-stakes fixtures.
