Detroit Tigers lead trader consensus at 43.5% implied probability to win the 2026 AL Central after an aggressive offseason spending spree, headlined by signing Framber Valdez to a three-year, $115 million deal and adding Justin Verlander, bolstering a rotation already anchored by Tarik Skubal and four All-Star starters from last year, positioning them as overwhelming preseason favorites per ESPN analysts in a perceived weak division. Cleveland Guardians (22%) and Kansas City Royals (21.5%) trail closely amid early-season parity—Minnesota Twins lead standings at 11-9, followed by Guardians at 11-10 and Tigers at 10-10—fueled by the Tigers' 2025 playoff surge and Royals' momentum, while Twins (15.6%) face rotation questions and White Sox (3.5%) lag with rebuilding woes. No major injuries have shifted sentiment in the past week.

If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
