This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLB American League Central division. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Detroit Tigers lead trader consensus at 43.5% implied probability to win the 2026 AL Central after an aggressive offseason spending spree, headlined by signing Framber Valdez to a three-year, $115 million deal and adding Justin Verlander, bolstering a rotation already anchored by Tarik Skubal and four All-Star starters from last year, positioning them as overwhelming preseason favorites per ESPN analysts in a perceived weak division. Cleveland Guardians (22%) and Kansas City Royals (21.5%) trail closely amid early-season parity—Minnesota Twins lead standings at 11-9, followed by Guardians at 11-10 and Tigers at 10-10—fueled by the Tigers' 2025 playoff surge and Royals' momentum, while Twins (15.6%) face rotation questions and White Sox (3.5%) lag with rebuilding woes. No major injuries have shifted sentiment in the past week.
