The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Bobby Witt Jr. leads trader consensus for the 2026 AL Platinum Glove at 44.5% implied probability, driven by his proven elite shortstop defense that produced consecutive Gold Glove awards and the 2025 Platinum honor, highlighted by top-tier Outs Above Average totals across recent seasons. Early 2026 form, including strong overall value metrics through May, reinforces this positioning among AL defenders. Contenders such as Dillon Dingler, Ceddanne Rafaela, and Wilyer Abreu sit in the 7.5–11.5% range, reflecting their strong positional defense and recent Gold Glove contention but limited historical hardware compared to Witt. The field remains competitive, with up to 20 players holding measurable shares based on Statcast metrics, roster stability, and early-season defensive contributions.
