RC Lens holds a commanding second place in the Ligue 1 table with 59 points from 27 matches, just one behind leaders PSG who have a game in hand, but a massive 10-12 point cushion over third-placed Marseille (49 points), Lyon and Lille (47 points each), and Monaco (46 points), fueling trader consensus at 74.5% for a runner-up finish. Lens bolstered their position with a dominant 5-1 home win over Angers last weekend, extending an impressive defensive record of only 24 goals conceded, while chasers like Lyon endure winless streaks and Marseille grapples with inconsistencies despite strong recruitment. Upcoming fixtures, including a pivotal home clash against PSG on April 11—which Lens refused to postpone—highlight their home advantage and momentum, with seven matchdays left making upsets unlikely barring catastrophic collapses. Lyon, Marseille, Monaco, and Lille's comparable 18-19% probabilities reflect slim mathematical pathways via superior goal difference gains and Lens stumbles, though recent form favors the leaders maintaining separation.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
