Barcelona holds a commanding 9-point lead over Real Madrid atop the La Liga table after 31 matchdays, boasting 79 points from 26 wins, a 1 draw, 4 losses, and a dominant +54 goal difference (84 goals for, 30 against). This trader consensus at 97.6% stems from Barcelona's relentless form under Hansi Flick, including a recent derby victory over Espanyol that extended the gap, while Real Madrid's five losses and recent dropped points have eroded their title aspirations. With seven fixtures remaining, Villarreal trails far at 61 points. Realistic challenges would require an unprecedented Barcelona collapse—multiple defeats amid injuries or fatigue—coupled with Real Madrid winning out, a scenario crowds deem highly improbable given Barca's home strength and schedule edge.
